An estoppel certificate is an official document that shows the current financial and compliance status of a property within an HOA or condominium association. It confirms whether assessments are paid, notes any outstanding balances or violations, and lists upcoming fees or special assessments. This information is required by title companies and closing agents to finalize the sale or transfer of a property.
